Alexandra Kaul is a writer and anthropologist currently based in rural Oregon. Her work has been featured in The Georgia Review, the Society for Cultural Anthropology’s Fieldsights series, and Tendon Magazine.
Her work focuses on memory, police violence, ecology, and white supremacy in Germany and the United States. She is currently working on a second book. She also serves as a co- editor for Tendon Magazine and a contributing editor for the Society for Cultural Anthropology’s Online Section.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's degree in Anthropology from The University of Chicago. She was born in Germany and raised in Germany, Malaysia, and California.
